If you are having trouble accessing your at home learning technology, please contact the IT Help Desk by phone or email. At Home Learning Technology FAQs

Q: What do I do if my student can't log into their @chinovalleyschools.com account?

A: Contact the IT Help Desk for a password reset.


Q: How does my student access their instructional content?

A: After logging in to the @chinovalleyschools.com account, students can navigate to https://classroom.google.com/ to see their class information.


Q: What if the device breaks or stops working?

A: Contact the IT Help Desk with the details. If they can troubleshoot via email or phone, they will. Otherwise, they will schedule a time with you to bring the device back to your child's school for repair or replacement.


Q: What if I still need to pick up a no internet device?

A: The IT team will be available at the Del Rio Library Lobby Monday-Thursday from 4:00-5:00 PM if you are in need of a no internet device. At this point, we will be available through Thursday, August 20th. If you need to make an appointment for another time, contact the IT Help Desk using the information above.


Q: When will I receive a flash drive for my no internet device?

Deliveries of flash drives occur each Tuesday.


Q: If you didn't receive a Chromebook and/or internet hotspot during device deployment, what can you do?

A: The District has ordered a limited quantity of additional internet hotspots and 500 Chromebooks and is awaiting delivery. Here are your options:

1. We will put you on a waiting list for a hotspot and Chromebook and you'll be notified when they come in. To get on the waiting list email webmaster@chinovalleyschools.com.

2. You can request an offline desktop device to start school. A flash drive with the work will be delivered to your home weekly. We will notify you when a Chromebook and hotspot are available.

3. Our computer labs on each campus will be available beginning August 17th. Transportation will not be available so your child will need to be dropped off and picked up. Students will be supervised by aides. Teachers WILL NOT be available to assist your student since they will be teaching online.

**As a reminder, if you have internet access at home and any computer that can connect to the internet your child has everything they need to complete their schoolwork.**
