Governing Board

board

Chino Valley Unified School District is governed by five elected Board members who serve staggered four year terms. The Board annually revisits its goals for the school year.

In the tradition of our community, our active governing board continues to show the strength of our community's commitment to educational excellence.  With clear goals and initiatives, strategic planning outlines our priorities, and provides the foundation to move forward as a community and a school district. The plan unequivocally states our commitment to our mission and our vision to see each student reach his or her greatest potential.

Over the last 20 years the District has experienced spurts of growth, until in more recent years, with economic downturns, declining enrollment has been the major issue facing the District.  In both good and bad economic times, the District has not wavered from its education, while keeping in mind the economic status of the community as a whole and working to prevent undue stress on the taxpayers of the community.

The Board holds its regular meeting the Second Monday of each month (unless it falls on a holiday) at 5:00 p.m.

Meetings are held at the Board Room located at 650 East Center Street in Chino Valley, Arizona, unless otherwise noted.
